Research Center of Information Technology (RCIT) is a research institute supported by Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) and located in School of Computer Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST). The main objective of RCIT is to bring together researchers from different disciplines of computer science, computer engineering and electrical engineering to lead eminent national and international IT projects from different institutes, organizations and companies.
RCIT activities are divided into three main research groups, including communication networks, soft computing, real-time systems, as well as language and multimedia engineering. The research projects led by RCIT focus mainly on two key areas: (a) computer networks protocols and applications, cloud computing and related security domains and (b) signal processing applications for network services.
